Hi, I’m Sophie Ferrlein. I use data (often from public APIs, such as GitHub or Spotify) and code (usually p5.js or GLSL) to create digital paintings on the HTML canvas.

Why? Because I love coding, working with data, and being creative. Because I want to raise awareness of the data that surrounds us, is created by us and/or describes things that are important to us, and make people curious about it. Because I want people to discover the creative potential of writing code. But mostly, because it’s great fun!
